There are two versions of this compiler. Intel Fortran Compiler (ifx): provides CPU and GPU offload support and Intel Fortran Compiler Classic (ifort): provides continuity with existing CPU-focused workflows and is provided to support users making the transition to the Intel%u00ae Fortran Compiler. For now STRUREL operates with three versions of oneAPI %u2013 2022.x, 2023.x, 2024.x and 2025.x. To use the FORTRAN interface with Intel%u00ae Fortran Compiler together you must install Microsoft Visual Studio before. At first, you need to find out the right version of Visual Studio for a specific version of Intel Compiler. Then, you can download the Visual Studio online. The free Visual Studio Community Edition is a valid option for Intel Compiler. If you are installing Visual Studio, then it is necessary to install the Desktop development with C++ component from Visual StudioInstaller. This component is not installed by default.
